WHOLE-HOME FILTRATION

Whole-home water filtration, designed around your home.

A Purenest Australia whole-home system is installed on the incoming household water supply so water passes through filtration before travelling to connected kitchens, bathrooms, laundry outlets and other household taps.

POINT OF ENTRY

One central filtration point for the home.

Instead of treating water at one drinking tap, a point-of-entry whole-home system is positioned on the incoming supply so filtration occurs before water is distributed through connected household plumbing.

  1. STEP 1

    Incoming water supply

Water enters the property through the incoming household supply.

  2. STEP 2

    Purenest Australia filtration

Water passes through the three filtration stages at the point of entry.

  3. STEP 3

    Connected household outlets

Filtered water continues to connected kitchen, bathroom, shower and laundry outlets.

MORE THAN A DRINKING-WATER DECISION

Why homeowners choose whole-home filtration.

Homeowners consider whole-home filtration for different reasons: drinking and cooking water, bathing, laundry, sediment, chlorine taste or odour, scale-related concerns, or simply a preference for treatment before water moves throughout the home.

THE THREE STAGES

Three stages, configured around your water.

Every Purenest Australia whole-home system follows a three-stage treatment approach. Cartridge selection can be matched to the home’s water characteristics, location and treatment goals.

01

Sediment Filtration

First-stage filtration for suspended particles such as rust, sand, dirt and silt.

02

Coconut Carbon Filtration

Helps reduce chlorine-related taste and odour, with media capability for selected VOCs, pesticides, herbicides and metals depending on the cartridge selected.

03

Hard Water Treatment

Configured as anti-scale or resin treatment depending on local water conditions and household goals.

Anti-scale treatment helps manage scale formation without removing hardness minerals.

FILTER REPLACEMENT AND SERVICING

Designed for ongoing ownership.

The system uses standard 20 in x 4.5 in cartridges. Purenest Australia supports replacement cartridges and selected serviceable components where available.

For many households, cartridge replacement is generally planned around annual intervals. Actual service life depends on water quality, household use, flow and site conditions.

PRODUCT FAQS

Questions the specification raises.

Any filtration system introduces some resistance to flow. The property and plumbing configuration should be considered before installation.

The standard anti-scale configuration is not an ion-exchange softener and does not remove dissolved calcium and magnesium in the same way. Where hardness reduction is the goal, resin-based options can be discussed during your assessment, depending on local water conditions and household goals.

The system flow is 50 L/min. Actual household performance also depends on plumbing, pressure, cartridge condition and the way water is being used at the property.

No electricity is required for normal filtration operation.

No drainage water is required for normal filtration operation.
